Santosh Kumar Singh
Shri Santosh Kumar Singh is a Post Graduate in History. He has joined BSF on 12th November 2007 as an Assistant Commandant (Direct Entry) officer. He has served on Line of Control & Indo- Pak International Border in Jammu & Kashmir, Indo- Bangladesh Border in smuggling prone Murshidabad District (WB) and LWE infested areas in North Bastar Kanker District (Chattisgarh). He has also served as an instructor of Basic Courses of Asst. Comdt (DE) and Subordinate Officer (DE) batches at BSF Academy, Tekanpur.
He has undergone many important courses such as Platoon Weapon Course, Commando Course, Junior Command Course (BSF) and Junior Command Course (Army) etc.
He was awarded with DG’s Commendation Roll (2), DG’s Appreciation Card, ADG’s Commendation Card (6) and IG’s Commendation Card (5).
He joined the Academy on 03rd January 2022.
