Chaitanya Siriprolu
Shri Chaitanya Siriprolu is an IPS Officer of the 2011 Batch i.e., 64RR, borne on the Maharashtra cadre. He hails from Nalgonda district of Telangana state, and completed his B. Tech in Electrical Engineering from Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology (MGIT) in 2005.
After joining Service, he did his probation in Chandrapur district, served as Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) in Kinwat division of Nanded district and in Ichalkaranji division of Kolhapur district. He also worked as Additional Superintendent of Police in Kolhapur, and as District Superintendent of Police (SP) in Dhule and Jalna districts. He served as Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Zone-IV and Traffic, in Nagpur and also as DCP (Operations) in Mumbai.
He joined SVPNPA as Assistant Director in February 2022. He currently holds the positions of Assistant Director (IT-2), Assistant President Mess Committee (APMC) for IPS Mess and he is the AD incharge of the Academy Library.
During his Phase-I training at SVPNPA, he was awarded the Smt. Vinodini Verma Memorial Cup for Musketry, for best performance in Firing. His hobbies are Photography and reading.
