As a general rule, SVPNPA website does not collect Personal Information about the viewer when  ever the viewer visit the site. Viewer can generally visit the site without revealing Personal Information, unless they choose to provide such information. The information received depends upon what viewer do when they visiting the site.

                                      Content Contribution, Moderation & Approval Policy (CMAP) 

Content to be hosted on the SVPNPA website need to be contributed by the authorized member from each Sections of the Academy in a consistent manner in order to maintain uniformity and to bring in standardization along with associated metadata and keywords. In order to present the content as per the requirement  of the viewer, organize the content in categorized manner and to retrieve the relevant content efficiently, it is required to contribute the content to the website through either email/ softcopy/ hardcopy. The content on the website goes through the entire life-cycle process of,  Creation  --> Modification -->  Approval --> Moderation --> Publishing --> Expiry 

Only after the content is created and approved for publishing on the website by the competent authority, it would be published on the Academy Website. The content moderration would be done by section heads with due approvals. If the content is rejected at any level of the approval then it is reverted back to the originator of the content for modification. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy(SVPNPA) has prescribed the appropriate Moderator  for each of the content element.                                                 Content Archival (CAP) Policy

 The content components are created with metadata(a set of data that describes and gives information about other data), source and validity date. There would be some content which is permanent in nature and for such content, it is assumed that the content would be reviewed in every ten years unless it is edited / deleted based on requirement. The content shall not be displayed on the website after the validity date. Some of the short lived content components like tenders, recruitment etc., which will not have any relevance on the website after the intended purpose. The content components like documents, reports, latest news is regularly reviewed as per the Content Review Policy. The content is reviewed at least two weeks prior to the validity date and if required content will be revalidated and validity date is modified. All possible efforts need to be taken to keep the content on the Website current and up-to-date.
